Hi Everyone,

 

         Thank you for coming to our website! We’ve had a little trouble with our provider but all niches are now worked out, hurray!! We’ve had many questions regarding Marcy and Rachel. We’ll try to answer a few for you.

Marcy is now learning the mandolin and plays a duet with Isaac as well as solo songs. She also plays guitar, recorder, and fiddle. She and Rachel yodel on a few songs too!

Rachel is playing the tambourine, fiddle & drums. Marcy and Rachel are singing many of the original Holker Sisters songs with their own blend of harmony.

Isaac teaches Marcy the mandolin & has recently begun banjo lessons & would like to add violin lessons to his schedule this summer. He and Ben are an invaluable part of our family business. We are truly blessed by them.

 Ben is our main rhythm guitar guy. He’s often in the background, but he likes it there. He works with Marcy on the guitar.

Julie is moving home this summer to work in our construction business to help landscape, milk goats & work in our garden. We hope to ground her well before she begins two years at MSUM. Julie will be playing guitar & bass with us through the summer.

Our darling Sara left for Arkansas last summer and found a nice southern gentleman, musician & married him. Sara & Jason play all instruments from piano to harmonica. They are not with the group at this time.

Anne is currently finishing her senior homeschool year. She just purchased her first car for six-hundred dollars. She will be playing banjo, fiddle, and guitar with us this summer.
